Join some of the most talented country artists in an intimate, historic setting while celebrating the transformative work of High Hopes, where last year alone nearly 650 children benefited from 18,830 physical/occupational/speech/feeding therapy appointments, and 126,360 preschool instructional hours.  A Season of High Hopes is made possible this year by First Tennessee Bank as an Angel sponsor and Jackson National Life as a Star sponsor, additional support comes from Williamson Medical Center, Walton’s Antique and Estate Jewelry, Practice Resource Network, Inc., and Ivey Cakes.  All funds raised from the event will be doubled thanks to a generous foundational grant.  This special night at the Franklin Theatre will fill your heart with the holiday spirit and help children and their families with special needs in our area.

Gail Powell, Executive Director at High Hopes shares her excitement for the celebration, “We are delighted and honored to have these amazing artists help us host A Season of High Hopes at Franklin Theatre during this magical season.  Most of them has previously supported the mission of High Hopes, and we are so thankful to be able to have their support again.”

When the Franklin Theatre was asked why they decided to align with High Hopes for this holiday event, Dan Hays, the Executive Director said, “Our community is uniquely touched by High Hopes’ mission, their nurturing staff, and the attention provided to children with special needs.  Their event and the talented artists involved on December 15 are sure to create a special experience during the holidays that touches our community and helps shine a light on their efforts.”

High Hopes Development Center is a 32-year non-profit organization that loves, nurtures, and educates children with two integrated programs helping each child reach their maximum potential.  Children ages 6 weeks to Pre-K, with and without special needs, are educated together in inclusive preschool classrooms by a team of experienced teachers supporting the individual needs of each child.   High Hopes is an inclusive preschool with an on-site pediatric therapy clinic, allowing children to receive therapy services during their preschool day. High Hopes is truly unique in the way that children with and without special needs such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and various developmental delays play, learn, and grow together every day. The outpatient pediatric therapy clinic provides occupational, speech, physical and feeding therapies to children from birth to 21 years. High Hopes gives children of all intellectual, physical and mental abilities the opportunity to learn and grow together in an environment that provides a strong foundation for future academic and social success.
