The Franklin Farmers Market
February 11, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, repeating until April 30, 2023
The Franklin Farmers Market is a True Tennessee Farmers Market!
From produce, fruit and dairy to baked goods and meats, you’ll find delicious fresh food at the Franklin Farmers Market in downtown Franklin, TN. And because it’s all from local farms, the variety of goods increases and changes each week through the seasons. You can taste the difference, because it all comes straight from the farm to the market, ripe and ready to enjoy. It’s Tennessee farm fresh food from real farmers, every Saturday morning at the Franklin Farmers Market. Plus, there are a select number of local crafts persons at the market too, with unique and beautiful goods for you to enjoy.
The non-profit FFM believes that local family farms can remain successful with support from the market to stay productive. Productive family farms are important to both the economic and environmental structures of Middle Tennessee communities and the Franklin Farmers Market is working to ensure the future of farming in Tennessee.
Events and Festivals
The Franklin Farmers Market holds many events and festivals throughout the year, too! Their Pardoning of the Turkey event is a family favorite event! You will also find fun activities and games for kids and the best homemade strawberry shortcakes you’ll ever eat! The festival is great fun for all ages! The Tomato Festival celebrates summer’s favorite veggie with heirloom tomato tastings, plus a lot of fun games for the kids! The Franklin Watermelon Festival is a fun day for the whole family, too! Enjoy games for kids and adults, including the popular watermelon seed-spitting contest and the popular fastest watermelon eating contest.
