Adult Turkey Hunting Workshop – Tennessee Wildlife Federation
Spring is here! That means it is turkey time in Tennessee! Turkey hunting is one of the most action-packed ways to enjoy Tennessee’s great outdoors. Join us for this 3-hour in-person workshop. We will walk you through everything you need to know to be successful this season. Whether you are brand new to turkey hunting or just want to brush up on old skills there is something to be learned for everyone. Bring your turkey shotgun because we will all pattern shotguns at the range. Don’t have a shotgun yet? No worries we have some shotguns for you to try out and see what you may be interested in buying.

-Locating Turkeys/Places to Hunt
-Choosing a Shotgun and Ammunition
-Patterning a Shotgun
-Gear and Clothing
-Calling Turkeys
These workshops are geared toward adults; however, teenagers are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by a guardian.
