Traveling Caregivers Ministries SSM is a grassroots faith-based ministry bridging the gap between self-care and navigating endless caregiving concerns through a holistic lifestyle.
We focus mainly on A.L.S.(Lou Gehrig’s Disease) families and caregivers in need of financial, practical, and moral support.
Founded by Dawn Renee, a full-time live-in caregiver for a friend with Stage 4 ALS, The Traveling Caregivers Ministries SSM advocates for caregivers’ self care, A.L.S. Families and better palliative care in hospitals, hospices and at home.
The Traveling Caregivers began their charity work at The Room In The Inn over a decade ago and later started their annual benefit concert and silent auction called Rock A.L.S. back in 2016 as a way to bring awareness, support, encouragement and advocacy to those living with ALS. Rock A.L.S. will take the stage this year at The Franklin Theater on 2-22-22 at 6PM.
