Jim ‘N Nick’s Brings Back Crowd-Favorite Menu Items with an Updated Twist

Brand turns up the heat with new hot and smoky menu staples

FRANKLIN, TN (Feb. 13, 2024) — Jim ‘N Nick’s Community Bar-B-Q (JNN), known for award-winning barbecue, Southern hospitality and focus on the communities they serve, has added crowd-favorite items back to the menu – Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, Pitmaster Nacho Platter and Loaded Queso.

The Pitmaster Nacho Platter adds a southern twist to a traditional appetizer with creamy white queso, fresh pico de gallo and zesty chipotle crema. The dish is topped with spicy Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, smoky pulled pork or chicken. The nachos will be listed as a new “shareable” dish to be indulged by the table or taken on individually.

The new Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage is a Texas-style smoked sausage with spicy jalapeños and buttery cheddar cheese. The sausage can be enjoyed as individual links or as an addition to your Mr. Jim’s Combo Plate.

Rounding out the new items trio, Loaded Queso will now be available for the table. Crafted with decadent white queso, crisp pico de gallo and the brand-new Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, the new queso will be served with fresh, crunchy tortilla chips.

“During our season of growth as a brand, what better way to add to the menu than bringing back some of our guest favorites,” says Larry Ryback, chief executive officer of Jim ‘N Nick’s. “We look forward to our customers trying the updated dishes as they gather around the table with family and friends at their neighborhood Jim ‘N Nick’s.”

The re-introduction of the menu items aligns with the restaurant’s growth surge as they recently announced seven internal promotions, including Chief Marketing Officer Brad Jacobus, Vice President of Accounting Lindsey Pourciau and Vice President of People Chaz Patrick. Jim ‘N Nick’s also announced their plans to open nine new locations in 2024; the full list of locations is slated to be announced at a later date.
