Whether you’re looking for a brand-new inclusive playground, a neighborhood spot with a walking trail, or a park with diverse athletic options, this guide highlights some of the city’s most popular parks, each with a playground for the little ones.

Ellie G’s Dream World

This playground doesn’t exist yet, but with a little help, it soon will. Planned as Franklin’s first public inclusive playground, Ellie G’s Dream World is being built within the new Southeast Municipal Complex. This project aims to create a space where children of all abilities can play together. The safari-themed playground will feature a central “Tree of Life” play structure, alongside inclusive swings, a double zip line with accessible seats, a music area, fully accessible restrooms, and individual picnic areas.

Aspen Grove Park

Aspen Grove Park, located in the Cool Springs area, is a 14-acre park with a half-mile paved trail running alongside Spencer Creek. Cheek Park

Del Rio Park

Located in the Rogersshire Subdivision, Del Rio Park is a small neighborhood park with a playground, gazebo, and picnic table with a grill.  • 100 Del Rio Ct, Franklin, TN 37064 •

Fieldstone Park

Jim Warren Park

Jim Warren Park features a playground and a variety of other recreational options across its 58 acres. While popular for baseball and football, the park has a lot more to offer. Additional amenities include tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic areas with grills, a walking trail, and a skatepark. Liberty Park

Tinkerbell Playground

Tinkerbell Playground, located in Pinkerton Park, is a popular spot for kids of all ages. Adjacent to the parking area, this playground features climbing equipment and ample room to roam. The one-mile walking trail is perfect for little explorers and the on-site restrooms mean you can spend the whole day enjoying the great outdoors. Trinity Park

Crockett Park

Tucked away within Crockett Park you’ll find the Brentwood Community Playground, a unique play space designed to spark imaginative play. No typical climbing structures here, this playground features castle architecture, obstacles, bouncy bridges, slides, tire swings, and even a mini-amphitheater with a puppet show stage! The paths are rubberized for safety and the restrooms are nearby. Granbery Park

Grassland Park

Owl Creek Park

This 21-acre neighborhood park offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including a playground and a large picnic shelter, which can be reserved for events. River Park

River Park offers 46 acres of beautiful scenery and recreational opportunities. In addition to a children’s playground, the park features a two-mile bikeway and walking path that winds along the Little Harpeth River, connecting to Crockett Park and Concord Park. Wikle Park

Situated at the far east end of Wikle Road West, Wikle Park is a peaceful neighborhood park. In addition to a playground, the park offers paved walking and jogging paths and open space for picnics, sports, or simply enjoying the outdoors. Fischer Park 

Spring Hill’s largest park, 30-acre Port Royal Park caters to families with young children, featuring an ADA-compliant playground. Sarah Benson Park

While Thompson Stations’s Sarah Benson Park caters to fitness enthusiasts with jogging paths and workout equipment, there’s also space for the kids to play. Fairview Ball Park

The Fairview Park & Recreation Complex offers a diverse range of amenities for all ages. Hillsboro Leiper’s Fork Community Center
