Touch a Truck
Williamson County Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the second annual Touch-a-Truck event, Saturday, October 11th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Thompson’s Station Church. The kids can look and touch these amazing service vehicles! This free event will be bigger and better than ever, with fire engines, dump trucks, ice cream trucks, bulldozers, golf carts and more! Fifth Third Bank and Crowder Trucking are event sponsors.
Held in the large parking lot of the Thompson’s Station Church, this free family event gives kids of all ages the opportunity to explore numerous service vehicles while being entertained by magician Scott Tripp, face painters, balloon artists and DJ Louie Lee.
Kids and their families can also participate in truck-themed crafts to take home while enjoying an array of festival foods and drinks on site, including Domino’s Pizza, Dippin’ Dots, Moe Better BBQ, and Ace Wilson’s Kettle Korn (cost incurred for concessions). The event will conclude with raffle prizes such as motorized kid’s vehicles and Tonka Trucks! Don’t miss this fabulous event!
