Summer Swim Teams

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Aquatics Division begins registration for Franklin, Brentwood and Fairview swimmers to participate in summer recreational competitive swim teams. Swimmers ages 5-18 are invited to apply!
 
Swimmers for the Franklin Recreation Complex’s “F.A.S.T.” (Franklin Area Swim Team) can register by visiting the complex located at 1120 Hillsboro Rd. in Franklin anytime through Fri., June 6. Practices begin Mon., May 12 and continue to Fri., July 11. Participation cost is $100 per swimmer. Additional costs apply for suits, caps and T-shirts. No refunds will be provided after June 9. New swimmers must try out! For more information, call 790-5719, ext. 26. A Parent Meeting is scheduled for Tue., May 13 at 6 p.m. at the Franklin Recreation Complex.
 
The Indoor Sports Complex’s “Brentwood Barracudas” can register by visiting the complex’s aquatics office located at 920 Heritage Way in Brentwood beginning Mon., April 7 at 8 a.m. Space is limited to the first 250 registered swimmers. Practices begin Tue., May 27 and continue through Fri., July 11. Participation cost is $105 per swimmer (includes team cap).
 
Additional costs apply for suits and T-shirts. No refunds will be provided after June 9. New swimmers 10 and under must complete an evaluation on Sat., April 5th from 8-10 a.m. For more information, call 370-3741, ext. 12 or Dawn Van Ryckeghem at 791-6037. A Parent Meeting is scheduled for Thu., May 15 at 7 p.m. at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd. in Franklin.
 
The Fairview Recreation Complex’s “Fairview Sharks” can register by visiting the complex’s pool office located at 2714 Fairview Blvd. in Fairview beginning Tues., May 6 through Fri., June 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Practices begin Tue., May 27 and continue through Fri., July 11. Participation cost is $100 per swimmer.  No refunds will be provided after June 9. New swimmers must try out! For more information, call 799-9331. A Parent Meeting is scheduled for Thu., May 8 at 6 p.m. at the Fairview Recreation Complex.
