Seniors Visit Corvette Museum and Cracker Barrel

Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Senior Division travels to Bowling Green, Kentucky for an exciting day to tour The National Corvette Museum on Thursday, March 13th. This 68,000 square foot building, dedicated to America’s premier sports car, houses over 50 models including the historic one-millionth Corvette.  Also on hand are thousands of Corvette related photos, advertisements, scale models, rare memorabilia, movies and more! Prior to the Museum tour, participants will dine on the delicious home-style cuisine of Cracker Barrel.
 
The cost is $11.00 per person plus lunch at Cracker Barrel as a Dutch treat. Check-in time the day of the trip begins at 9:30 a.m. with an estimated return time of 4:30 p.m. All transportation is provided by motor coach and will leave from the Franklin Recreation Complex located at 1120 Hillsboro Rd., Franklin. Space is limited!
 
To register, call 790-5719, ext. 10 beginning at 9:00 a.m. on or after the first registration date. You must speak with a receptionist in order to make a reservation. Williamson County residents may register between February 22nd and March 11th. Non-residents are welcome to register between February 27th and March 11th.
 
Reservations must be paid within 5 days of registration in order to be held. Payment may be received by mail, over the phone or in person (credit card purchases must be over $20.00 and will include a small processing fee) and are non-refundable after the final registration date; unless, the seat is filled from the waiting list. Participants may register up to 1 additional person for each trip.
