Paintball Event for Youth at Longview Recreation Center

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is planning a paintball excursion for youth ages 12 to 15 on Saturday, September 20th. The paintball outing is part of the ongoing Junior Excursion Adventure Program (JEAPS) at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill. JEAPS provides fun outings like canoeing, swimming and trips to sporting events and other area attractions for kids ages 12 to 15 in a safe, adult-supervised setting.
Pre-registered paintball participants will meet at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill at 10:00am and travel by van to Middle Tennessee Paintball. There is a $40 fee for this supervised trip which includes transportation, use of a paintball gun, mandatory head gear and 600 paintballs. Participants may also purchase 500 additional paintballs from Middle Tennessee Paintball for $12.50. Each child should bring a sack lunch, a drink and a snack. Wear old clothing and bring a change of clothes. Bottled water will be provided. The group will return at 5:00pm.
There will be a mandatory parents meeting on Monday, September 15th at 6:30pm at the Longview Recreation for all pre-paid paintball trip participants and their parents. Space is limited to 20 and registration closes September 14th or when the trip is full. Voice mail registration will not be accepted.
