Awesome 80s party

Dudes and dudettes! Excellent time to make your party reservations: June 29 at The Factory!!!

Popular local band, Guilty Pleasures, will provide entertainment at this special event to benefit a not-for-profit agency serving middle Tennessee. For more than 75 years, the League for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has been the sole provider of qualified interpreting and comprehensive services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in the middle Tennessee region and parts of Southern Kentucky.

The League marks an unprecedented 80th anniversary in 2007 as a provider of a wide range of programs and services to individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Nashville.  The not-for-profit agency began in 1927 as a lip reading class.  It now serves the Middle Tennessee region and parts of Southern Kentucky with offices in Nashville, Franklin, Clarksville and Fairview.  A new satellite office is being planned for Murfreesboro.

The Awesome ’80s Party will celebrate 80 years of service on June 29th at The Factory in Franklin. Come out and enjoy food, beverages, a silent auction, dancing, trivia, and costume and dance contests starting at 7 pm. Tickets are $60 per person until June 26th, then $80 per person (including at the door.)  To purchase tickets, contact the League at 615-248-8828 or visit for more information.
