Williamson County Performing Arts Center’s upcoming tribute concert to include close friends and bandmates of the late Jerry Lee Lewis

The Williamson County Performing Arts Center (WCPAC) at Academy Park and the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) are excited to present a very special tribute concert honoring Jerry Lee Lewis, featuring close friends and bandmates of the late musician.

On Saturday, June 29, 2024, the Williamson County Performing Arts Center will present a tribute to the trailblazing rock ‘n’ roller, Jerry Lee Lewis, lead by Jacob Tolliver. A self-taught piano prodigy and close personal friend of Jerry Lee, Jacob has spent the last few years playing and portraying Jerry Lee Lewis in the hit Broadway musical Million Dollar Quartet.

“I’m so excited to be able to finally share this amazing story of mine with the world,” said Tolliver. “From a small boy listening to Jerry Lee’s records, to then portraying him in the Las Vegas production of the Broadway show, Million Dollar Quartet, to becoming his official opening act during his final years of touring, to then becoming like family to him and his entire family.”

Tolliver will perform alongside Jerry Lee’s bass player Ray Gann, along with Fred Stallcup on guitar and Scarbs on drums. They will be joined on a few songs by Kenny Lovelace, Jerry Lee’s guitarist of over 50 years. The show will also feature guest appearances by Jerry Lee’s wife Judith Lewis and road manager Eric Williams.

“I’ve been so lucky and blessed to have all of these people in my life. I’m so thrilled that they still support me and are making the effort to be a part of this show,” Jacob said. “It really is special to be playing with Jerry Lee’s band one more time with Judith Lewis and Eric Williams there to support us all. It really feels like a big family reunion. The gang is back together again!”

Jacob Tolliver: A Tribute to Jerry Lee Lewis will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center. The show will feature decades of hits, honoring the electrifying, piano-driven sound and style of the late Jerry Lee Lewis. Tickets are $27.50 for adults and $25 for seniors 55 and over and can be purchased at https://www.wcpactn.com/tickets_and_events/index.php.
