The Williamson County Performing Arts Center will offer Tribute Series and Outdoor Events this Summer

The Williamson County Performing Arts Center (WCPAC) at Academy Park and the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) will be offering a variety of indoor and outdoor events this spring and summer.

Throughout June, July, August and September the WCPAC will host their Summer Tribute Series featuring new and returning musical groups who pay tribute to a variety of genres and artists. The series includes Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute on June 1, 2024, The Ultimate Garth Brooks Tribute on June 22, 2024, Jacob Tolliver: A Tribute to Jerry Lee Lewis on June 29, 2024, Homeward Bound: The Music of Simon & Garfunkel on July 13, 2024, World Turning: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac on July 27, 2024, Motor City Magic: Motown Tribute on August 17, 2024, Chi-Town Transit Authority: Chicago Tribute on August 24, 2024 and Forever Abbey Road: Beatles Tribute on September 7, 2024. Tickets for all events in the Summer Tribute Series are $27.50 for adults and $25 for seniors 55 and over. All Summer Tribute concerts start at 7:00 p.m. inside the Williamson County Performing Arts Center at 112 Everbright Avenue in Franklin. Customers who purchase three or more of the events in the series will automatically receive a 15% discount applied to their order with no coupon code necessary. Tickets must all be purchased in the same transaction for the discount to apply. New for 2024, the WCPAC will be offering a series of events in the Academy Park Courtyard, located directly adjacent to the Performing Arts Center at 112 Everbright Avenue in Franklin. The first of these events will be Sunday Swing in the Courtyard, featuring the 5 Points Swing Band on Sunday, May 19, 2024  at 3:00 p.m. On Sunday, June 2, 2024 the WCPAC will host Jazz on the Courtyard featuring jazz artist Lisa Stewart and her jazz combo at 4:00 p.m. The final courtyard event will be the inaugural Academy Park Acoustic Fest on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., which will feature four different acoustic groups and/or artists. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase on site. Outdoor seating will not be provided, but guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets or a picnic. Restrooms and additional seating will be available inside the Williamson County Performing Arts Center. In the event of inclement weather, these events will be held inside at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center with seating provided for all in attendance.
