The WCPR Summer Camp program has a successful track record of more than twenty years and is the Programming Division’s most labor-intensive accomplishment. Fully staffed camps are held at eight elementary schools throughout Williamson County to accommodate an average of 1,500 participating children. Parents are able to choose the camp location most convenient for them and they include: Crockett, Grassland, Heritage, Hunters Bend, Lipscomb, Nolensville, Trinity and Westwood campuses.
Various registration dates and sites coordinate with the school/camp locations of the parent’s choice. Registration for the Hunters Bend, Grassland and Trinity sites is on Monday, May 5th from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Franklin Recreation Complex.
Registration for the Lipscomb, Nolensville, and Crockett sites is on Wednesday, May 7th from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. also at the Franklin Recreation Complex. If openings are still available for these six sites after Wednesday, May 7th, registration will continue for all six sites at the Franklin Recreation Complex on Friday, May 9th from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please call ahead to confirm availability (790-5719 ext.38).

Camp fees are $15.00 per day, per child with a one-time registration fee of $25.00 each. Parents are required to pay for at least three days of camp fees at the time of registration. Campers may then pay as they go; may purchase multi-day units or “block days” to use whenever they wish; or may receive a discount when purchasing the entire seven weeks at $450.00 for the first camper (a savings of $60.00) and $400.00 for each additional camper (an extra savings of $50.00).
