Second Harvest Food Drive
The Patricia Hart Society Food Drive for Second Harvest begins Friday, April 18 and continues until Monday, May 5. We encourage everyone’s participation so we are able to supply ample amounts of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
The Second Harvest Food Bank furnishes food to four Williamson county sites in Fairview, Spring Hill, Cool Springs and Franklin. The Patricia Hart Society has chosen late spring to conduct a food drive because these four sites help supply the extra food needed by many families in Williamson County during the summer months.
Please bring donations to the United Way office at 209 Gothic Court, Suite 107 in Franklin. Donated foods will be delivered to Williamson County sites on May 8.
Most needed items are:
Canned Vegetables
Canned Fruits
Canned Meats
Canned/dried beans
Rice
Macaroni and Cheese
Pasta
Peanut Butter
Food in plastic containers is preferred to those in glass jars.
