First, adults and teens can learn to play piano for fun at the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood.  Local community band leader and composer, Ken Krause will teach this 9-week session on Tuesdays, September 2nd through October 28th at a cost of $58.00 with a $15.00 supply fee (due the first day of class for the method book). Beginner’s classes will be offered from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and advanced “Piano Club” classes from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Not only will students learn how to read music, they’ll also be taught how to play by ear! Participants must bring a keyboard to class and may sign up at any time during the 9-week session (classes will be pro-rated and are not progressive). Contact the instructor, at 370-3462 for more information. To register, call 370-3471, ext. 10.

Instructor, Judith Fitzsimmons educates adult and teen participants Monday, September 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cost is $18.00 per person. Class members will create three blends: a germ free spray, an extra dry skin lotion and a house cleaning blend. Registration required by calling 790-5719, ext. 10.
