Nashville Shores Partners with Gabe’s Chemo Duck Program for Annual Duck Derby
Nashville, Tenn. (July 28, 2022) – Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort and Gabe’s Chemo Duck ProgramTM will team up to host their ninth annual Duck Derby at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, August 6.
The Duck Derby will take place inside Nashville Shores Waterpark at the lazy river. This fun-filled activity is open to all ages with proceeds benefitting Gabe’s Chemo Duck ProgramTM—a program offered by Gabe’s My Heart, a nonprofit organization that supports children and their families affected by childhood cancer.

I’m eager to see these values in action on Saturday.”
For a donation of $5 at Nashville Shores, supporters can purchase one of 2,000 rubber ducks that will be dropped into Nashville Shores’ lazy river. One lucky donor’s rubber duck will receive a grand prize of $1,000.
Gabe’s My Heart, based in Nashville, Tennessee, collaborates with medical experts and child life specialists to comfort those affected by childhood cancer. The program develops therapeutic tools and provides materials for families to better prepare them for chemotherapy.
