The Middle Tennessee Mayors Caucus Represents 1.8 Million Tennesseans
City of Franklin Mayor, Dr. Ken Moore was named to the Executive Committee of the Middle Tennessee Mayors Caucus Wednesday, August 24. According to the Caucus the executive committee is responsible for developing the overall work program; identifying issues to be addressed by the general membership; setting the agenda and dates for general membership meetings; serving as nominating committee for the Caucus Chair and Vice-Chair(s).

Comprised of 6-10 members, the committee includes the Caucus Chair and Vice-Chair at least one member from each MPO and Development District within the Caucus area, at least one city member, and at least one county member.

“I am honored to serve on this committee,” said Mayor Moore. “This Committee will be very involved in discussing not only programming for the entire caucus, but issues important to regionalism, sharing ideas and working together.”
