Legacy Ball to benefit abused children

The Davis House Child Advocacy Center’s annual Legacy Ball “Dancing with the Stars – The Children of Davis House” will be held on Saturday, March 5, at the Embassy Suites.

Tickets are $125 per person or $1,250 for a table of 10, and may be purchased online at www.davishousecac.org.

Heidi Schwartz returns to capture the evening with a live, interpretive painting of the event, which will be auctioned at the ball. Don’t forget to bring a pocket of dollar bills for the popular and somewhat raucous Not-So-Silent Auction. There will be many exciting items on which guests may take a chance.

The event recognizes exceptional work by service providers and volunteers with special awards. It also raises funds and awareness for the services and programs provided by DHCAC and sends a message to abused children they are important and people care about them, said Marcus Stamps, DHCAC executive director.
