HeART to Heart Fundraiser
Thursday, January 25, the Patricia Hart Society, a women’s group of the United Way of Williamson County got together to get auction items ready for the HeArt to Heart Fundraiser on February 9, which will be at 11:30am in Jamison Hall, at the Factory.
Walking into the United Way office after hours, I was warmly greeted by the women. Over pizza and wine, the women worked on assembling the auction baskets, and these auction items look great. Each basket has a theme and is titled after a song. One of the volunteers created beautiful heart centerpieces for the luncheon. They are hand painted and will be sold after the luncheon. If you have not bought your tickets for this event, hurry. This is something you do not want to miss! The annual fundraiser is a great way to connect with other women and to learn more about taking a leadership role in positively impacting the community. The group is named after Patricia Hart, a local resident and outstanding volunteer, and was created to encourage women to help in the work of the United Way.
