Chef Richard Jones welcomes biodynamic farmer and winemaker William Downie to the Jammery for an exciting dinner pairing their wines with the best of the summer harvest. Master Sommelier & award-winning author Jonathan Ross will also be joining to share his insight.

William (Bill) Downie is a passionate Pinot Noir Viticulturist and has created a cult following in his home state of Victoria, Australia, creating appealing and boundary pushing bottlings of this demanding varietal. Featuring his own wine plus examples from classic Pinot Noir regions, this will be a deep dive for Burgundy and New World Pinot lovers alike!

Jonathan Ross, the award-winning author of “How to Drink Australian” and Master Sommelier will also be sharing insight throughout the evening. Owner of Legend Australian Wine Imports along with his wife Jane Lopes, Jonathan has lived in many areas across the United States & in Australia. He has a unique knowledge of the creation of Australian wines and the needs & preferences of American sommeliers and wine lovers.
