Picnic with the Library
May 1, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Nashville Public Library Foundation will host the seventh annual Picnic with the Library on Sunday, May 1st from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the downtown Main Library. The family-friendly event raises key funds for Nashville Public Library’s award-winning children’s programming. This must attend family fete features family-friendly activities including puppet shows, musical performances, crafts, face painting, photo booths, and more.
Founded in 1997, the Nashville Public Library Foundation (NPLF) is a 501(c)3 organization with focus on supporting and fundraising for Nashville Public Library (NPL). As a department of Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, the Library depends on public funding to support operations and maintenance; however, it thrives because of private investment. NPLF has raised over $60 million to advance the impact of NPL programs and initiatives. These gifts allow the Library to nurture children and teens, empower our community’s adults, and build conversations about equity.
