Drama People Present Great Expectations
Drama People brings to the stage an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel Great Expectations at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center, May 4 and 5, 2023. Experience the coming-of-age story of the orphan, Pip, as he journeys from the humble marshes of England to the bustling streets of London. Pip’s tale is filled with escaped convicts, a mysterious benefactor, and anguishing heartbreak as he aims—with great expectations—to win the love of the beautiful, but cruel Estella. Come see the show and experience this beloved classic in a new and refreshing light.
Drama People is the high school theater program of the Shanan Homeschool Co-op in Franklin. Our inclusive program is teacher-directed and student-run, focusing on excellence, experience and enjoyment.
