City of Franklin Parks’ Family Day is a Free Festival in Franklin, Tennessee, that is Fun for All Ages!
In Celebration of 20th year of The Park at Harlinsdale Farm and the 225th year of the founding of Franklin, Tennessee.
Franklin Parks’ Family Day is held annually at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm on the first Saturday in November. Family Day offers free fun, farm activities, and entertainment for the whole family! This free festival features miniature train rides, hayrides, pony rides, and a petting zoo. Festival attendees can also enjoy cane pole fishing in the pond. Don’t miss the Touch-a-Tractor area, which will consist of small excavators the kids can operate and large tractors the kids can sit on. Many equestrian related events will be held in the Tractor Supply Arena, sponsored by Friends of Franklin Parks. Food will be offered for purchase by local food vendors. This year we will have our returning special guest the Gary Sinise Foundation, where the LT. Dan Band will be performing on stage along with their opening act Five For Fighting. The Park at Harlinsdale Farm is located at 239 Franklin Road, across the street from The Factory in Historic Franklin.
Family Day Details and Additional Information:
Parking: There will be parking at the South and North Entrance of the Park. Motorcycles will be allowed to park along the gravel fence line (please follow directional signs).
Entertainment: Gary Sinise and The LT. Dan Band and Five For Fighting
Tractor Supply Arena: Many Equestrian-related events will be held in the arena starting at 11 AM, Sponsored by Friends of Franklin Parks.
Food Trucks: Available for purchase from 10 AM-4 PM.
Stations: Hayrides, Pony rides, Petting Zoo, Crafts, Games, Fishing, Live music, Pumpkin patch, Corn maze, Train rides, Face painting
What to bring (all optional): Chair, blanket, water, sunscreen and a good time.
