This coming February 15th, The Franklin Theatre welcomes Drink The Sea, a new supergroup featuring members of R.E.M., Screaming Trees, and more. What started as a jam session in Washington quickly evolved into a global project, with the band’s two debut albums recorded in studios spanning Iceland, Brazil, Chile, and the United States. Their music blends traditional rock with a rich tapestry of world influences, incorporating instruments like the Arabic oud, Indian sitar, and Indonesian gamelans.
