Del Webb Grand Opening Fishing Pond & Pier

Del Webb, the nation’s leading builder of active adult communities, today announced the rescheduled grand opening ceremony of the fishing pond and pier at its Murfreesboro community, Del Webb Southern Harmony, taking place on Oct. 11, at 10 a.m.
The active adult community will celebrate the opening of the fisherman’s refuge with a $1,000 donation check presentation to Project Healing Waters Murfreesboro, live music, mini remote-controlled boat races for the young and young-at-heart guests and a first-catch contest with prizes from KastKing. Daniel Brown, local pro fisherman, will also throw the first cast! Guests who attend the event will also receive an exclusive sneak peek tour of the under-construction amenity center, which is rapidly approaching completion.
Del Webb Southern Harmony celebrated its grand opening in April 2024 with a community party and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Since the spring of 2024, builders have been hard at work finalizing all of the community amenities and homes, with the fishing pond being the first of many projects to be completed.
