This is the year to take this special 90-minute guided tour at Carnton. The year America’s Declaration of Independence turns 250. This tour is not offered anywhere else in the State of Tennessee. It will connect many of America’s successes and failures from her founding, to, and through, the Civil War. All in the home of Randal McGavock, a child of the Revolution being born just eight years before America declared independence from England. Offered at 9am, Monday – Saturday. Arrive 15 minutes prior to tour time. Walk-ins welcomed.
