40th Annual Dickens of a Christmas 2025

Update: Due to extreme cold and safety concerns, the Heritage Foundation has canceled Dickens of a Christmas festivities on Sunday, December 14th, while Saturday’s event will continue as planned from 10 am to 6 pm with added warming stations and indoor spaces available.
The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County’s 40th Annual Dickens of a Christmas is Middle Tennessee’s largest outdoor Christmas festival!
The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN’s 40th Annual Dickens of a Christmas is historic Downtown Franklin’s annual Victorian-themed outdoor street festival. Dickens of a Christmas recreates the time of Charles Dickens using historic downtown Franklin’s charming architecture as the backdrop. A variety of musicians, dancers and Dickens characters will fill the streets. Expect to see and interact with the nefarious Fagin from Oliver Twist; Jacob Marley, Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the rest of the Cratchit family from A Christmas Carol; and of course, a Victorian Father and Mother Christmas with treats for children. The festival is produced by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County. Dickens of a Christmas will run Saturday, December 13th, 2024, from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday, December 14th, 2024 from 11 AM to 5 PM.
