Brent Lankford Appointed Chair of Stites & Harbison’s Family Law Service Group
Stites & Harbison, PLLC is pleased to announce that attorney Brenton H. Lankford has been appointed Chair of the firm’s Family Law Service Group. Lankford succeeds Gregory D. Smith, who served as service group chair for more than 20 years.

Lankford is a Member (Partner) of Stites & Harbison and is based in the Nashville office. He practices primarily in the field of domestic relations, assisting clients with divorce and post-divorce matters, including issues of child custody, child support, alimony, and financial and property disputes. He also negotiates and drafts prenuptial agreements and frequently acts as a trusted mediator.
A long-time Nashvillian, Lankford is devoted to advancing the interests of both his community and Stites & Harbison.
