Blackberry Jam to feature long lineup of music for all ages
Renaissance roots music man and slide guitar master Colin Linden will headline the 2016 Blackberry Jam Festival in Franklin on Saturday, June 25, on Franklin’s Boyd Mill Farm.
A member of the highly successful trio Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Linden is a singer and songwriter, an in-demand and prolific record producer, musical director on the hit TV show Nashville and sideman to the stars as guitarist for the likes of Bob Dylan, Bruce Cockburn, Emmylou Harris, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. He is considered as someone not to be missed.
The Blackberry Jam Festival, presented by The Franklin Noon Rotary, will feature a stellar lineup of roots, acoustic and blues music for all ages. Scheduled performers include Buddy Greene and Union Station’s own Ron Block, The Howlin’ Brothers, Tommy Talton, Gracen Hill, Colin Elmore, Farmer Jason, Roger Day, Quintavious Johnson and more.
