Battle of the Bands
The 12th annual Williamson County Exhibition of Bands will take the field at Fred J. Page High School on Saturday, September 6th, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. More than 700 students from all seven County high school bands will perform including: Brentwood, Centennial, Fairview, Franklin, Independence, Page and Ravenwood.
Each band will perform a preview of their halftime and competition shows for the fall season. Williamson County is very fortunate to be the home of outstanding high school bands that have earned numerous championship titles, superior ratings and recognition in local, regional and national competitions.
This is an excellent opportunity to hear the bands, see their shows and to truly appreciate the amount of pride, time and talent that the band directors and their students put into each show. In addition, participating County middle school bands will perform a piece in concert with the high school bands. This is an eagerly anticipated event enjoyed by families, school alumni and music lovers of every age.
This year the Page High School Marching Patriots are very proud to host this event at Fred J. Page High School, 6281 Arno Road in Franklin. Gates will open at 5:30, performances begin at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $7.00 per person. Proceeds from this event will go to support the Williamson County Band programs.
