Save the Franklin Theatre
The following is an update about Save the Franklin Theatre’s fundraising goals:
The Martin Foundation provided the Heritage Foundation with a $1.5 million Challenge Grant in early October of this year: The grant states that if the Heritage Foundation raises $1.5 million by December 31, 2008, then The Martin Foundation will provide $1.5 million to match the funds raised. It is an all or nothing grant.
If you are interested in commemorating a special someone in your life or your family or business, we are selling 200 Theatre seats (59 are left at this moment) for $2,500 each with 2 years to make the complete payment. The purchasers will have their name on a bronze plaque in the lobby of the newly renovated Theatre.
