7 Bridal Skincare Tips From…

Breakouts? Acne? Under-eye circles? No problem.

Model and Arbonne Consultant Elizabeth Martin gives 7 skincare tips and her own personal Arbonne product recommendation for every skintastrophe — to ensure that you have glowing and radiant skin on your wedding day.

first things first: about Arbonne products….

All of Arbonne’s products are botanically-based; pH correct — not pH balanced (skincare pH of 5.5 ensures maximum benefit); hypoallerginic; dermatologist tested by volunteer human testing (never on animals); formulated without animal products or by-products; and most importantly, formulated without mineral oil. (Occlusive oil can interfere with skin functions as well as advanced delivery systems.) Arbonne’s products are formulated without dyes or chemical fragrances, which are known irritants and can cause allergic reactions. And all of Arbonne’s skin care lines have a sunscreen in their moisturizers, which is of utmost importance to your skin’s well-being.

7 Skincare Tips:

in general…

I would not try any NEW skincare a week before a wedding, brides need to be as consistent with skincare as possible, and be sure to wash off all makeup before bedtime.

for oily skin…

If the bride is young and has oily skin, Arbonne’s Intelligence Line is perfect. Arbonne’s mineral powder foundation as well as their liquid foundations work wonderfully well together — the combination ensures low breakouts and oil control.

for dry skin…

If the bride is older or struggles with having a really dry complexion, I recommend the NutriminC RE9 skin care line accompanied by the Thermal Fusion mask, done once a week. The RE9 line is the first and only anti-aging system to use Nanosphere Technology in a U.S. as well as a Swiss patents-pending system that uses 9 REsult-oriented elements to combat the visual signs of aging. It’s Arbonne’s best seller. The line entails a REnewing Gelée Creme Hydrating Wash, a REstoring Mist Balancing Toner, an SPF 8 Day Creme to ensure protection against sun damage, a REactivating Facial Serum (Day & Night) to help with cell proliferation and battles against fine lines and wrinkles, a REcover Night Creme, and finally, a REpair Corrective Eye Creme — all of which have a Vitamin C base, which is known to firm and transform skin with new resiliency.

for combination skin…

The Intelligence line works extrememly well with a variety of skin consistencies.

for breakouts…

If the bride experiences breakouts close to the day of her wedding, another great product inclusive with the Intelligence line is it’s Thermal Fusion Enzyme mask — this is the product that sold me on Arbonne. This exfoliating mask is uniquely formulated with Thermal Fusion technology to increase microcirculation and cell proliferation and combines the benefits of a scrub and a masque for deep-cleansing results.

to prevent dark circles…

The RE9 Eye Creme works wonders. But, I cannot stress enough the importance of having a consistent skin care that you use day and night to help keep your skin looking radiant and fresh.

to prevent acne problems…

If the bride struggles with acne, Arbonne’s Clear Advantage line would be best. It’s packed full of deep-cleansing elements such as acne-fightlng salicylic acids that help prevent new blemishes from forming without drying out skin.

to get that glow…

Regular exfoliation will guarantee the natural glow you want for your big day, and Arbonne carries several excellent exfoliators.

*Please note that you will have the best results if products are used at least 3 months prior to the wedding day. This will allow enough time for your skin to adapt, so that you can look your best on your big day.
