Dive Into Group Swim Lessons

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Franklin Recreation Complex offers group swimming lessons for water athletes of all ages.  Administered through the American Red Cross “Learn to Swim” program, each July session is held Monday through Thursday for two weeks: July 9th through 19th or July 23rd through August 2nd. Can’t swim? No problem. Expert teachers will introduce the basics of water safety and swimming. Already swim like a fish? Come with water skills for further development, honing and additional training.

Walk-in registration for each session is held at the Franklin complex on Monday, June 25th for the first July session, and on Monday, July 9th for the second session.  Registration for both sessions is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with numbers dispensed at promptly 5:30 p.m. Absolutely no telephone registration will be accepted.  Cost for each two-week training is $50.00 per participant, with payment required when registration is made.  The Franklin Recreation Complex is located at 1120 Hillsboro Road in Franklin.  For more information, call the Aquatics Division at 790-5719, ext. 26.
