Scrooge Syndrome

Sponsored by the Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County, “The Scrooge Syndrome” premiers December 8, 9 and 10 at Fourth Avenue Church of Christ.  C.B. Griffith wrote the two-act musical as a sequel to Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”  The musical takes place five years after Scrooge’s miraculous transformation.

Now, Tiny Tim is a teenager. Bob’s wife Molly is pregnant and about to deliver. It is a week before Christmas but all is not well. Another Christmas Eve miracle is needed to set things right. And a miracle does indeed occur, a miracle brought about by a most unlikely character.

While you and your family are out enjoying downtown Franklin’s Annual Dickens of a Christmas, take time to come in from the cold and watch this delightful performance.

    Performances are the following:
              Friday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m.,
             Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.,
             Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Ticket prices are $5 for children (12 and under) and seniors (65+) and $10 for adults. Tickets are available at the Heritage Foundation office at the back door of the Five Points Post Office.
