After the hike, families can warm up with hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. Guests may choose between two hike options: an easy ½-mile walk or a moderate 1-mile route with some hills. Trails are natural surface, so strollers and wagons are not permitted. 

Skate Center Brentwood – New Year’s Eve Skate

Skate Center Brentwood is hosting its biggest skate party of the year with multiple New Year’s Eve skate sessions. Little kids ages 8 and under can enjoy a morning skate from 10 am to noon, complete with a balloon drop at 11:45 am. etc. is offering a four-course prix fixe dinner on December 31, served in place of its regular menu. The restaurant’s culinary team will release full details soon, but guests can expect a thoughtfully crafted holiday menu with optional wine pairings available.

In West Nashville, Miel is serving a four-course New Year’s Eve menu that opens with a fried Kennebec potato chip topped with caviar and crème fraîche. Courses include mushroom bisque with confit duck and a charred frisée salad with carrot “lardons.” Entrée selections feature lobster with Parisienne gnocchi, slow-cooked pork belly, or a vegetarian gnocchi option.
