Beekeeping Essentials: Sourcing, Q&A, and Honey Bee Expo Insights
Interested in becoming a beekeeper but unsure where to start? This class covers how to source your beekeeping equipment, bees, and other essentials. Join us for a Q&A session to address your burning questions and participate in a short discussion about highlights from the North American Honey Bee Expo. This program is perfect for aspiring beekeepers eager to dive in to beekeeping!

Tammy Cherney has been a beekeeper since 2015. She has a background in the nursery industry and a strong foundation in design and landscape design. Her passion and dedication for beekeeping is evident through her extensive education in the field and through her active role as the secretary of the Beekeepers of Middle Tennessee beekeeping club. Tammy is a proud member of the Tennessee Beekeepers Association. As the host of the podcast, The Tea About Bees, Tammy shares her knowledge and insights into the world of beekeeping, helping to educate and inspire others. Beyond her work with bees, she is passionate about pollinators and is an advocate for promoting sustainable and environmentally-friendly gardening practices.
