DeBerry Insurance Agency welcomes Valmar Domingues
Spring Hill, TN – November 12, 2024 – DeBerry Insurance Agency recently welcomed Valmar Domingues, Licensed Agent, to their team in Spring Hill, TN. Domingues brings more than 30 years of insurance experience to the role and is now serving clients to help them with their home, auto, life, and renters insurance needs.
Domingues is originally from São Paulo, the capital city of São Paulo in the southeast region of Brazil. He first moved to the United States in 2001 when he opened an agency in Houston, TX. He moved to the Nashville area in 2005 as part of a multicultural agency where he worked until 2012 when he moved back to Texas to work in a supply chain role for a large Brazilian oil and gas company.
Domingues recently returned to living in Spring Hill.
“I am happy to be back in Tennessee and working in the insurance industry again as part of the DeBerry Insurance family,” Domingues said.
Domingues has worked in the insurance industry since he was only 15 years old helping his father who was an insurance agent in Brazil.
“Together we founded the Domingues Insurance Agency in 1986,” he said. “The agency is still in business in Brazil today.”
Domingues can communicate effectively in Spanish and Portuguese, his native language.
Domingues and his wife, Helena, are high school sweethearts and have been married for 39 years. They have two daughters and three granddaughters. Domingues enjoys many hobbies and is an accomplished oil painter having painted more than 50 canvases since beginning the practice when he was 14. He is an avid soccer fan and proudly supports his hometown team, the SE Palmeiras. Music is an important part of life for Domingues, and he enjoys an eclectic mix of styles. He has even become a fan of Country Music after living in Tennessee.
Domingues plays Button Soccer, a very popular Brazilian table game that follows traditional soccer rules. He coordinates a small league in Tennessee and Texas. He recently won the Music City Button Soccer League tournament!
