The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department announces seasonal arts and crafts classes celebrating winter at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd.
WINTER CERAMICS
Kids ages 3 to 12 are invited to create a painted snowflake treasure box. Winter ceramics will be on Tuesday, January 19. Ages 3 to 5 meet from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and ages 6 to 12 meet from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The class fee is $4 per child and space is limited. Call the Fairview Recreation Complex to register: 799-9331.
SNOWMAN SCULPTURE
Make an ooey-gooey snowman using a special molding product. Use the snowman to decorate for the winter months. Wear old clothes for this project. Snowman Sculpture is Thursday, January 14. Ages 3 to 5 will meet from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and ages 6 to 10 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The class is $3 per person. Call the Fairview Recreation Complex to register: 799-9331.
SNOWFLAKE MOBILE
Celebrate winter by making an incredible snowflake mobile to hang from your porch or window. Snowflake Mobile will be on Friday, January 29. Ages 3 to 6 meet from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. and ages 7 to 12 meet from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The class is $1 per child. Call the Fairview Recreation Complex for more info. No registration required.
