Williamson County Fair

The Williamson County Fair presented by Tractor Supply Company has joined hands with the Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County in an innovative partnership designed to improve fair-goers’ experience this Aug. 3-11.

For the first time the Heritage Foundation, which hosts the Main Street Festival, PumpkinFest and Dickens of a Christmas street festivals in downtown Franklin each year, will manage arts and crafts exhibitors, food concessions and commercial vendors at the Fair.

“When it comes to know-how about vendor quality, scheduling and management, the Heritage Foundation has years of experience and unique expertise,” says Fair Chairman Dave Crouch. “We are delighted to work with them to upgrade our arts and crafts, food and commercial vendor areas to make the Fair bigger and better than ever.”

The third annual Williamson County Fair presented by Tractor Supply Company at the Agricultural Exposition Center is expected to draw more than 150,000 attendees for nine days of fun, games, food, entertainment and agricultural exhibitions and competitions. The Heritage Foundation will put together and manage a three-day juried arts and crafts show with more than 100 booths in the newly air-conditioned center Aug. 3-5. Other vendors may opt for indoor booths or participate in an outdoor bazaar for the entire length of the Fair. Applications for those booths will also be processed through the Heritage Foundation.

“The Williamson County Fair is one of our community’s most enjoyable family events and dovetails well with our goals, an important one of which is preserving the county’s culture,” says Mary Pearce, Heritage Foundation. “We’re delighted to be part of  this third Fair, which promises to be an even bigger success than the first two.”
