Whataburger Opening in Franklin, TN: Location, Date, and Grand Opening Details
Whataburger is continuing its growth in Middle Tennessee with a second Williamson County location set to open Tuesday, March 24th, at 11 am. in Franklin. The new restaurant will be located at 3075 Mallory Lane, on the former site of a Fifth Third Bank, which has since been demolished.
The Texas-based chain already operates a location in Brentwood at 5004 Maryland Way, along with additional restaurants across the region in Hermitage, Gallatin, Lebanon, Murfreesboro, Smyrna, and Madison. Additional restaurants in East Nashville and Columbia are also in the works, with grand opening dates to be announced.
To celebrate the Franklin opening, the team has planned a morning of festivities, including a ribbon-cutting and giveaways. The first three customers in line—one in each drive-thru lane (A and B) and the first inside the lobby—will receive free Whataburger for a year. Other guests can expect a Whataburger swag bag and a free Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit while supplies last.
The new Franklin location will offer dine-in, drive-thru, curbside pickup, and delivery options. Hours will run from 7 am to 2 am Monday through Thursday, with 24-hour service Friday through Sunday. Breakfast will be available daily from 11 pm to 11 am.
The opening also comes as competition in the fast-casual burger space continues to grow locally. California-based In-N-Out Burger recently opened a Franklin location and has announced plans to bring 277 jobs to its corporate headquarters in the city.
