Veterinary Innovative Partners Introduces First VIPets Animal Clinics in Tennessee

FRANKLIN, TENN. (June 16, 2025) Veterinary Innovative Partners (VIP), a network of nearly 70 veterinarian-owned-and-operated hospitals across 12 states, is expanding its presence in Tennessee by reopening two former My Pets Wellness locations as VIPets Animal Clinics. Headquartered in Nashville, VIP will open the first-ever VIPets Animal Clinics in Franklin and Knoxville.

In launching these veterinary clinics, VIP is restoring access to pet care in areas that may have experienced a gap in services. Under the new VIPets Animal Clinic brand, these clinics will offer comprehensive, community-centered veterinary care.

The clinics are opening June 16 and June 19 at:

  • VIPets Franklin Animal Clinic: 5070 Carothers Pkwy, Ste 112, Franklin, TN 37067

(opening June 16)

  • VIPets Hardin Station Animal Clinic: 10657 Hardin Valley Rd, Knoxville, TN 37932

(opening June 19)

“At VIP, we believe in the power of veterinarian-led practices that are deeply connected to the communities they serve,” said Chris Bishop, CEO of VIP. “We’re proud to reopen these new clinics within our network to provide pet families in Tennessee with care they can trust, close to home.”

VIP’s expansion into these locations reflects its continued commitment to building accessible, veterinarian-led care models that support clinical excellence, personalized service, and a dedication to creating a Life-First workplace culture for veterinarians and their teams.

The VIPets Animal Clinics will offer comprehensive services such as prevention, wellness and emergency care, diagnostics, surgery, dental and vaccinations. The clinic will feature innovative technology to ensure pets receive the best care possible.

VIPets Franklin Animal Clinic will be led by Dr. Julia LeMaistre, DVM and Dr. Allison Pace, DVM. Dr. LeMaistre, who will also be serving as Medical Director, brings over nine years of experience in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and wound care. Dr. Pace brings over 13 years of experience in internal medicine, dentistry and general practice. VIPets Hardin Station Animal Clinic will be led by Dr. Courtney Alred, DVM. “With VIPets, we’re creating more than just veterinary clinics – we’re building trusted community hubs where pet owners feel supported and confident in their pets’ care,” said Emily Hubbard, Chief Medical Officer at VIP. “Our goal is to combine the strength of our national network with the heart of local care.  As CMO, I plan to both support our new VIPets Animal Clinics by providing my services at these locations, leveraging my Tennessee veterinary license.”
