The NYC born brand will celebrate the opening of its third Nashville scoop shop with $1 scoops and a collaboration with Tailor Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, the NYC-born, nationally beloved brand known for its cult-favorite dairy and vegan ice cream — made with only good ingredients — as well as its unexpected flavor collabs, has announced the opening of its next Nashville location in Germantown on Thursday, Aug. 28. Located at 1316 Adams Street in Neuhoff District, the Germantown location is the third Tennessee scoop shop following the opening of the Edgehill and Gulch locations.

“The response in Nashville has been incredible since opening our first two scoop shops,” said Ben Van Leeuwen, co-founder and CEO. “We’re thrilled to continue growing in this city and can’t wait to join the Germantown community. It’s a neighborhood with such a strong food scene and we’re excited to collaborate with Chef Vivek Surti of Tailor to celebrate the launch.”

For the Germantown scoop shop, Van Leeuwen has partnered with neighboring business and popular Nashville restaurantTailor to offer a limited-time Sicilian Pistachio Ice Cream Sundae featuring Vivek’s Nankhatai shortbread cookie during the grand opening (while supplies last). Additionally, opening day guests can enjoy $1 scoops between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and the first 100 customers in line will receive free, limited-edition Van Leeuwen totes.

The Germantown store will feature more than 30 of the brand’s signature flavors, including Honeycomb, Earl Grey Tea, Black Cherry Chip and Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Brownie along with custom sundaes, handmade ice cream sandwiches, root beer floats, milkshakes and 14-ounce pints to-go. An extensive selection of Van Leeuwen’s famed vegan flavors, such as Strawberry Shortcake and Peanut Butter Brownie Honeycomb, will also be available.
