United Way a Success!
The Taste of Cool Springs was held on Sunday, April 19th at the CoolSprings Galleria. Attendees enjoyed a relaxed tasting experience and fun filled atmosphere with music provided by classical guitarist, Carlos Enrique; pianist, Jim Hayden and big band singer Matt Belsante Guests dined on everything from appetizers and entrees to unique and delicious desserts from returning restaurants and were offered lots of new selections from first time participants. One attraction this year that drew lots of attention was the beautiful and unique “Food Art” Hand-Carving demonstration by Amena.
Congratulations to Wild Ginger who won “Best Presentation” for the second year in a row. The winner of the “People’s Choice” award, which asked what restaurant had it all — great food, great service and a great time, was Old Hickory Steakhouse at Gaylord Opryland. The steak simply melted in your mouth and the chef made sure to cook it to the guests liking. In a tie for second was Texas Roadhouse and Wild Ginger. Many people took time to write in comments about how they enjoyed so many new restaurants this year and especially some of the sweet entries.
