Tickets to Pull-Tight Players Holiday Comedy Go On Sale Monday

Pull-Tight Players, Franklin’s community theatre now in its 57th season, merrily presents its Christmas show, Seasonal Allergies by Katherine DiSavino and Kevin Mead.

When Julia’s brother Pete shows up on her doorstep on Thanksgiving, heartbroken from his pending divorce, Julia offers him the living room couch for a night or two while he sorts things out. Julia, her husband, their nine-year old son, and the family’s two closest friends end up supporting Pete through the holiday trifecta of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve, while bravely soldiering on to fully uphold all of the traditions holiday memories are made of. As Julia plays mom and battles her control freak tendencies, Pete, his dirty laundry, and his dismal mood threaten to bring everyone down. It’s a play packed with personalities that will warm the heart and tickle the funny bone.

The show is directed by Megan Hutchinson, and stars Zach Perkins as Pete, Aleah Christian as Julia, Jon Kieffner as Thomas, Ryman Stanton as Charlie, Kali Chapas as Alison, Ernesto Rosas as JD, and Kelsey Keny as Emily. Zach, Ryman, Ernesto, and Kelsey make their Pull-Tight debuts in the show. Kali was recently seen at the theatre in Silent Sky and the reader’s theatre presentation of Murder by Poe. A fun stage reunion takes place, since Aleah and Jon also played a couple in Beau Jest at Pull-Tight in 2013.

Showtimes are:

December 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20 at 7:30 p.m.

December 7 and 14 at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale November 24, and can be purchased at www.pull-tight com.
