Therapeutics Spring Dance and Luau

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department announces a spring dance and luau presented by the therapeutic recreation division at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road.  Do the hula or limbo and enjoy a barbecue dinner, drink and dessert. The Spring Dance and Luau event will be Thursday, April 30th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per person and registration is from April 2nd to April 28th.  For young adults and older. This is a P.A.L.S. program (People At Leisure with Support) and caregivers are required to stay with those needing support.  Caregivers planning to eat are asked to register and pay the $5 program fee. 

Therapeutic programs are led by Therapeutic Recreation Specialists who assist people with disabilities to develop skills, knowledge and behavior for daily living and community involvement.  Williamson County Parks & Recreation is a public organization, here to benefit the community. No membership is required. Anyone can register for and participate in our classes and programs – no facility pass is required.
