SUMMER THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES OFFERED AT LOCAL RECREATION FACILITIES

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s (WCPR) Therapeutics Division will host a variety of enrichment mini camps and other programs for children, adolescents, young adults and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in July at recreation centers in Franklin and Nolensville.

Programs include a series of summer mini-camps for Williamson County residents ages 6-23 at both locations; weekly “Fit Mind and Body” and “Fun Arts & Crafts” programs for individuals ages 24 and up at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd.; a monthly “Friendsday Wednesday” social program for ages 17 and up at the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd.; plus a monthly “Friday Fun Day” offsite activity for ages 17 and up at a WCPR outdoor door and/or splash park.
