Summer Sports Camps for Kids
Pick a sport in camps for ages 2-13
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department will offer a variety of summer sports camps for kids from June 4 through July 27. Registration is now open. All camps are open to the public, and anyone may register and participate. Additional camp details and on-line registration are available at: www.wcparksandrec.com.
Volleyball (June 4-8) and basketball (July 9-13) will be offered at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr. Camps are $65 each and meet Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon.
At Academy Park Gym, 120 Everbright St., in Franklin, TN, two basketball camps (June 18-22 or July 16-20), table tennis (June 4-8) and two volleyball camps (June 11-15 or July 9-13) will be offered. Camps are $65 each and meet Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon.
Two tennis camps will be held at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd., June 18-22 or July 23-27, and soccer camp will be at the Robert A. Ring Indoor Arena, 1878 Downs Blvd., June 25-29. Register on-line at www.wcparksandrec.com. Camps are $65 each and meet Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon.
The Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1485 Volunteer Pkwy. in Brentwood, TN, will offer: Flag Football, June 11-15 or July 16-20, M-F, $65, ages 7-13 yrs.; Tiny Tots Soccer (times vary; $35 ages 2-5, $45 advanced level-ages 5 & 6), June 18-22 or July 23-27; Better Golf Academy ($225, ages 7-13), June 4-8 or July 9-13, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
In Nolensville, choose basketball, June 11-15 or volleyball, July 16-20 (levels: ages 7-9, or ages 10-13). Table tennis for ages 7-13 will be offered June 11-15. Camps are $65 each and meet Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon and will be held at the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd. or area schools.
