Over the past six years, Studio Tenn has successfully taken their Legacy Series from Franklin’s Jamison Theatre and Franklin Theatre to Nashville’s world-famous Ryman Auditorium, paying homage to history’s most influential artists of the 20th century such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles and Glen Campbell.
Studio Tenn Managing Director, Todd Morgan, mentioned his excitement to return to the Franklin Theatre with The Sinatra Legacy and how the venue acts as the perfect place for the Production.
“We couldn’t be honoring Sinatra in a more fitting venue than the Franklin Theatre,” said Morgan. “The historical and cultural atmosphere of the theater provides the spot-on Sinatra style that audiences will rave over for weeks to come.”
The incredible cast of local and non-local artists includes Laura Matula, Maggie Richardson, Jaimee Paul, John Mark McGaha, William Hall and American Idol season 8 finalist Matt Giraud, all of whom are sure take you back to the swooning sounds of Sinatra’s dreamy baritone.
Studio Tenn will also be welcoming Shelby Jones as she makes her debut as the first high school student to perform in the Legacy Series. With credits including Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and work as a voice actor for Musical Theater International, Jones makes an excellent addition to the well-rounded cast.
Under the co-direction of Benji Kern, Studio Tenn’s Interim Artistic Director, and Laura Matula of MA2LA, this original theatrical concert will bring audiences the very best of Sinatra’s dazzling array of hit songs such as “My Way,” “New York, New York,” and “Come Fly With Me.”
