Main Street Festival
The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County’s 39th Annual Main Street Festival will take place in historic downtown Franklin on April 22nd and 23rd from 10 am- 6 pm! With craft and food vendors, live entertainment, and more than 120,000 annual visitors, the Main Street Festival is consistently listed as one of the top 20 events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. Make sure to stop by and see what all the buzz is about!
Garden Talk
The John P. Holt Brentwood Library will be hosting a Garden Talk on April 13th, featuring a presentation on how to keep a bee-friendly garden this Spring season!
Jurassic Quest
You are invited to experience Jurassic Quest, the largest and most realistic dinosaur exhibit on tour in North America, at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park in Franklin on April 14th-16th. With life-size exhibitions, walking dinosaur rides, interactive activities, fossils, and more, this will be an eye-opening and entertaining experience for the whole family!
Skylight Sip & Sample
The Skylight is The Factory at Franklin’s brand new bar and gathering space. Their Sip & Sample event will be the public’s first opportunity to experience its addition and includes samples of drinks and food items on April 15th!
Buttercup Festival
Nolensville’s 23rd Annual Buttercup Festival benefiting Evelyn Bennett Scholarships and local charities will be on April 16th from 12pm- 6pm. You won’t want to miss out on this afternoon of fun, featuring artisan and food vendors, a car show, live music, horse rides, the Miss Buttercup Pageant, and more!
The Rambling at Southall
Southall Farm & Inn invites you to enjoy a multi-course dinner under the stars. Led by Executive Chef Andrew Klamar, The Rambling features a meal made from ingredients grown just a few feet away as well as live music from Reed Turchi. - You can find The Franklin Farmers Market every Saturday morning behind The Factory at Franklin in downtown Franklin with numerous vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items, and local art.
- The Nolensville Winter Farmers Market will be taking place every Saturday from 10 am-1 pm at the Mill Creek Church of Christ. Local farmers and artisans will offer fresh, seasonal foods and unique crafts!
Urban Birding
The City of Franklin invites you to walk along a paved trail in Aspen Grove Park on April 22nd to see all of the migratory birds that visit us during the Spring!
Spring Garden Festival & Plant Sale
The Williamson County Master Gardener Association will be hosting a Spring Garden Festival and Plant Sale in Franklin at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park on April 22nd! Featuring plants and gardening tools for sale as well as educational speakers, craft and food vendors, and more, this is the perfect Springtime event for any plant lover!
Farm-to-Table Dinner at GratiDude Ranch
GratiDude Ranch is hosting a Farm-to-Table Dinner on April 22nd with Chef Brayden Apple of River Cottage Farm. This 5-course meal features locally sourced ingredients, craft drinks, and live music!
Earth Day Rummage Sale
Cool Springs East Clubhouse will be having an Earth Day Rummage Sale on April 22nd in support of Mother Earth as well as MOMCODE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mothers in our community. Stop by and look through gently-used clothing, decor, and more!
Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary
Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary in Brentwood has plenty of Springtime events happening this month!
- Wildflower Hikes: Celebrate the Spring season with Wildflower Hikes every Saturday in April from 9:30am- 11:30am! Teens and adults are invited on a hike to admire all of the blooming trees and wildflowers like the Blue-Eyed Mary, Dutchman’s Britches, and Spring Beauty.
- Family Camp Out: This overnight camping experience on April 22nd includes roasting marshmallows, an owl presentation, a guided night hike, a take-home craft, and a light breakfast! Make sure to eat dinner beforehand and bring your own tent, smores, and camping chairs!
- Knee High Naturalist : Children ages 3-5 are invited to explore nature with the Knee High Naturalist series! Led by an Owl’s Hill Environmental Educator, children will learn about a different topic each week with emphasis on teamwork, creativity, and exploration! The Spring sessions will take place every Wednesday from 10am- 11:30am until April 26th, so make sure to register your child soon!
April Chef Dinner Series
In Amerigo’s April Chef Dinner Series, Chef Steven Robilio will offer a 5-course meal featuring seasonal ingredients to highlight the tastes of Spring on April 24th. Complete with wine/cocktail pairings, Chef Robilio will explain how and why he created each dish so that you can further appreciate the flavors of April!
Inaugural Franklin Theatre Songwriter Series
The Franklin Theatre presents their Inaugural Songwriter Series with Tim Nichols, Jimmy Yeary, Matt Wynn, and Autumn McEntire on April 27th! Make sure to grab tickets to this event filled with impressive performances!
Night for Newborns
Nurses for Newborns will be hosting Night for Newborns at The Factory at Franklin on April 28th! This event includes dinner, live music, impactful stories, and an auction! 100% of funds will benefit Nurses for Newborns’ goal to support babies and families in the Middle Tennessee area.
Songwriters at The Harpeth
The Harpeth Hotel invites you to Songwriters at The Harpeth, hosted by Hall of Fame songwriter Roger Murrah on April 28th. With featured writers Alecia Nugent, Connor Myers, and Jimmy Melton telling stories about their famous songs, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
Telescope Night
The Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory in Brentwood will have a Live Telescope Night on April 28th for guests to view their exhibits, speak with astronomers, and use telescopes to look for various celestial objects in the Spring sky!

Steve Miller Band
The Steve Miller Band will be performing at the FirstBank Amphitheater with special guest Mavis Staples on April 30th. This local amphitheater is found within a beautiful, wooded rock quarry, so enjoy the Spring weather and live music at this unique venue!
